Master Carpenter/Owner
Over the years, I have worked with and learned from many seasoned carpenters who have shown me how to do things the proper and thorough way the first time. I have had both formal and informal/jobsite training in the construction/carpentry trade. I attended the New England Institute of Technology and studied Building Construction Technology. I also attended Rutgers University where I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance. My theory is, in order to run a successful business, you have to not only understand the trade, but also how to properly run a business.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- House framing from the ground up and worked on all aspects of home construction from start to finish.
- Extensive experience in building custom cabinetry, furniture and fixtures for a high-end millwork company.
- Interior residential remodeling
- Commercial experience in finish carpentry for retail shops including: Victoria’s Secret, The Limited, Talbots, Express, Dick’s Sporting Goods, White Barn Candle and Bath & Body Works.
- Active in the business for over 25 years
